Old vs new

Pro tip: Leave the old one in place. It's a pain to remove.

 

Just a quick update to this; I installed the new one as pictured above and the stereo issues are fully resolved, all speakers working perfectly. I left the old part in place. I simply unplugged the old one, inserted the connector into the new one, zip-tied it in place and good to go

 

Hi Guys,

ordered the bluetooth module from Rich, trying to figure it out on a 2012 as I have been having the same speaker issues described but having a hard time figuring this out as it looks totally different. Any advice?

 

That switcher is for pre 2008 models with the early bluetooth system by Motorola. May want to send it back to get credit.
