I'm looking for just a basic dust cover for my vantage in the garage don't need custom-fitted fancy $400 to $500 covers just something basic for indoor use only.
any suggestions?
I use two soft micro fleece blankets from Costco! Less than $40. Keeps the dust off. Seriously.
If I could buy one single long sheet, like they use at the car reveal parties and shows, I'd buy one of those. I could never find one so this was the best option for me.

Honestly the fitted covers are worth it. They really do look amazing. I'm in a city so don't have a personal garage, but the valet keeps the car up front and everyone asks what's under it. There's definitely a cool element if you are giving someone a ride and have that cover on it. Keep in mind most other car covers are made for a camry that you wouldn't care about the paint so much.
If you really just want something cheap, I might look at those clear hair net type covers that detailers use. If you look on amazon for disposable car cover they can be found for $10.

I often use flannel sheets bc after driving the car is never clean and rather not rub and drag a fitted cover over the paint. Sheets are easy to put on, take off, and wash.
That said, they don't look good, and look sloppy on the car. If that bothers me, and car is clean, or going into storage, I use fitted soft car cover that is unique and look great. I purchased through the AMOC UK website. If my car wasn't in a personal city type garage, I would use a car cover with flannel underneath.
Blankets and sheets work ok if your visiting your in laws. But there’s nothing better than a fitted car cover for protection. Not a one size fits all like you get at the autostore. I take my cover to the cleaners a few times a year to have it washed.
Finally got a car cover... official Aston with logo etc...about $200 on eBay... was for a v12 vantage but still fits mine perfectly... only a poser in my garage... Ha ha
