hello, it’s a 2008 N400. About 49.000 miles, but don’t know if clutch was already replaced and/or when. Thing is clutch used to work perfectly until the day before when I parked the car. I own the car only for two weeks now, but during this two weeks I’ve been doing clucht learns everyday, and car ride was smooth as hell. Note that only reverse blinks, if I select first gear then it doesn’t blink!

Its supposed to blink in reverse, that is normal. My fault I thought I had read blinking in 1st. Sorry. 48k miles I guarantee its had 1 clutch. Only way to figure it out is checking for codes and clutch bit counts. If it needs a clutch not much you can do but have it replaced.

oh I see, since I had the car for only a couple of weeks I wasn’t sure Reverse should blink or not. Problem is I’m on a trip far from home with the car, I would love to make it ride a few hundreds miles to have it fixed on my city!

New info!

so I disconnected the battery for several hours, then plug it back, started the engine and did a few clutch re learns. Car did not move after choosing Drive, First or reverse. Then I tried again but reving the car up to 6.000 rpm and It suddenly kicked in and pushed the car forward. It was literally like a “violent initial kick”, I could keep moving forward after that. Then I did the same In reverse gear in order to leave the car parked where it was originally.

feels like a worn clutch to me, with a very weird behavior.
