Aston Martin Vantage 30 Pin Connector

Greetings!

I have an 07 Vantage and have been looking for the 30 pin connector that is supposedly in the glove box. However, mine doesn’t have one. Was that an optional item? Or is it something I can purchase and plug it into a place under the dash? Thanks!

Ok. Thanks. I take it you mean there is no place to plug one in. I say that only because I’ve seen some 07s with the glovebox cable. Thanks again!

If you have the socket and need to cable only, get the one for Land Rover and Jaguar and not the one for Audi MMI

I had a 2007 V8 Vantage. The iPod connection didn’t appear in Aston’s until model year 2008. Aston did later offer an upgrade and I had it installed by my dealer. It cost around $1200 between parts and labor. They actually replaced the infotainment screen as part of the upgrade. The iPod connector was placed in the glove box. The upgrade is still available from Aston. It is nicely integrated and “iPod” appears as a device on the infotainment screen.

Thanks. I’m using a very small FM transmitter that works nicely. However looking to upgrade. Hoping to find something that works nicely without taking too big of a hit.

Marc,

What is the name of the FM transmitter you're using?

I can't seem to find anything on it. Are you sure it's spelled this way?

Sorry. I really misspelled it! It’s the Doosl Universal Wireless. Search for it under FM Transmitter for Car. It’s the 10th or 11th down the list. 11 in stock. Very very simple to use. If you have any of the latest iPhones you will need to get that adapter to allow you to connect it to that type of jack. However you most likely already have one if you own the iPhone. Let me know if you still have problems finding it. Cheers!
