V8 Vantage Price Tracker
V8 Vantage Price Tracker
Hey everyone,
Some of you may already know about this, although I haven't seen it posted anywhere recently. I was messing around on the web, thinking about trading the V8V in for something with a 2+2 configuration, and ran across this section of CarGurus with some pretty cool analytics.
https://www.cargurus.com/Cars/price-...8-Vantage-d910
This website is tracking the "average" sales price of different year vantages and showing how they depreciate over time. Now, all this needs to be taken with a grain of salt because all model types are lumped together - manual, SS, roadster, S, etc - but still it is a pretty cool way to get a relative sense of value and depreciation. Personally, I have a 2012.25, and its nice to see that in the past 12 months or so, the value has stayed about even, with only a few thousand dollars of fluctuation. Interesting to see that the 13's have actually gained value YOY already - not sure if this is an anomaly, but it may have something to do with some of the updates in the Vanatage that came out in the late '12 model year. Also interesting to see some seasonal fluctuations - we know they exist, but cool to see them in the data.
Anyway, i found this to be a useful tool for me in understanding the value of my car, and hope some of you might find it useful/interesting too.
