2012 Aston Martin V8 Vantage brakes!
Hey Guys,
Just purchased my 2012 Aston Martin V8 Vantage and I got the "rear brake pads low" sign today.
1. Anyone know where I can get aftermarket pads that wont give me a sensor issue that is not terribly costly?
2. Approximate install time?
3. I believe maintenance on these are annual but it doesn't have a date or mileage countdown, so do I just wait until the car tells me its time for service?
Sorry for the basic questions, I am new and learning!
Thanks!

2. Approximate install time? 1-2hrs

Car will tell you 12 months after the SRL was reset. Its either 12m or 10k miles...most its 12m. Might be a good idea to check the oil, refer to your owner's manual for the proper way to check the oil on your V8V

One more vote for Porterfield R4-S. Lot's of information and DIY at redpants.lol where you can also buy pads. I got mine earlier this year from Topbrakes for $153.
Job is pretty simple as Brembo setup doesn't require removal of caliper. I'm in ATL if you need help.

I'm embarrassed to say that I made that mistake once last year on my E30 track car :-(
Was at the track rushing to change pads in between sessions.

Thats perfect! I think I might have to change out the rotors regardless of thickness. There are some small grooves on my current rotor which would overtime destroy my new pads.
