Pats light
Good morning, maybe. Picked up my 2009 dbs the vendor that installed the window tint. He said he had to put the car on a trickle charge because the battery ran down when the doors where open to do the film. Car started up a few 3 or 4 times with no issues. When i got home it wouldn't turn over last night so i put my factory charger on. Today i went out to get the car out of the trailer. Same issue. Than i notice that the pats red light is flashing. What can i do to reset it? Or are the batteries low in the key fob?, thanks
The batteries in the key fob aren’t related to starting the car, that is all down to the transponder in the key and it’s read by the key port. The key itself is a purely passive thing. And if it reads the key properly that should disarm pats even if you didn’t unlock the car with the fob.
Does everything else power up and work like you would expect when you put the key in but don’t try to start the car?
if you put the key in to position 2 but don’t try to start, everything should power up and go trough the pre start diagnostics, chimes, etc, etc. Key surround should be lit white. If you press the brake it should turn red. Is that what you are seeing?

I have the same problem on my 09 Vantage. It's pretty common. The issue seems to be the internal, non-replacable battery on the alarm module that goes dead after about 7 years, causing the alarm module to constantly draw power from the car's main battery.
To verify that's the problem: after driving a bit (at least a half hour), leave the car in your garage for at least two days, unlocked, without a trickle charger on, with the Reduced Guard button engaged (in mine, it's a button on the side of the dash that is only accessible with the driver door open; you have to push it right after shutting the car off and opening the door. A red light on the button will come on when it's engaged). If you can start the car after that, it's most likely the alarm module.
The module itself is expensive (around $400), and there are different part numbers for different VINs. You'll need someone who does service on Astons to get that info for you. It's also installed in different places in different cars.
There was a thread on here a couple years ago wherein someone replaced the battery on one, but I'd have to look for it.

the alarm module in my 2006 DB9 is a volvo unit. sits under the LH rear fender liner. I was able to replace it with a unit from aliexpress for about $80 delivered. The one in the car was not the original unit, having been replaced sometime after 2012 based on the build date on the unit.

Do you have a second ECU (key) and or tried any others? When you say Pats is flashing is it a rapid flash? 3-4 per second. That would indicate your ECU is not being read by the docking station. If it's a plastic key something to look for is if the transponder chip has come loose and fell out when checking or replacing battery.
