2008 DB9 PCV valves

Does anyone know if the pcv valves for a 2008 DB9 are available non genuine? Eg I bought a fuel pressure sensor at over 200 AUD and later I discovered it's a 50 dollar bosch part on amazon.

i'd probably look at fords or jags that had an engine with a similar displacement and cylinder count in 2008 and start there. IIRC, ford sold both aston martin and jaguar in the 2007-2008 timeframe.
it's rare for a car manufacturer to design custom pcv valves for the engines used in their cars. it's a good bet that that part can be had for less than 1/4 the price of an identical aston part.

They are all Ford parts from the cars of the 1980's and 1990's here in the UK. May have been used on later cars in the US market. They would then be a Geuine OEM Ford part but not at Aston Martin prices.

I went here: https://aston1936.com/aston-martin-d...ve-collection/ where all was revealed!

I found brass 90 degree and Y elbows to replace the plastic ones at my local hardware store.

I used these supposed to be upgraded link below , while you are at it fit a good catch can , a lot of the problem is the oil air separators aren’t really sized correctly you get loads of carry over plus valves in a hot location and then gummed up valves

I looked into fitting a catch can but ran into two problems

1) Do you use two cans, one for each side or 1 can and merge the feed from both sides?
2) Where do you mount the can on a LHD DB9?

Wow $20 upgrade? What a rip off. Those are the $4 ones for V6 ford mustangs.

Hi, to be honest the cost of the PCV valves is the least of the worries, they are such a pain in the **** to get to, I have RHD car so canister located by brake servo, you can use one can if you tap in prior to the PCV valves in the pcv harness, there is a schematic on aston1936.com done by a guy here in Australia
