So I've just taken delivery on my new (to me) 2007 V8 Vantage convertible. I want to pull fuse 22 (oops,can't edit the thread header to read fuse 22) to liven up the exhaust note. My owners manual and much online content says open up the carpet panel in the right rear of the trunk to gain access to the trunk fuse box. Sounds simple enough except that when I removed the carpet panel all I see is the tire inflator kit neatly secured with a velcro strap. So I figure its behind the inflator. I removed the inflator and I don't see anything remotely resembling a fuse box. Further, I don't see any other removable panel. So, is it in a different location in a convertible?? Any convertible owners got the answer to where it is??

It's on the other side of the trunk floor. Lift out the center floor carpet and then you will find the left corner carpet lifts up for access.

 

J doubleU thanks. I'll go take a look. I had pulled up the center carpet thinking it might be there but I didn't try any other piece.

on my 2007 4.3l vantage there is a fuse box on the RIGHT rear SIDE of the trunk behind some carpet. IRRC it has a black plastic lid on it. it's in there on my U.S. model.
