Vantage GTS
Vantage GTS
A 2016 V8 Vantage GTS just went live on Bring aTrailer. It has low miles and is a manual. It took me over a year to find my GTS manual.

There are not many out there. I see only 10+/- nationwide 2015 & 2016. Prices high, $80,000 - $90,000. Last of the NA V8's will always be desirable. I would bet this one may go at a fairly high price.
Pretty crazy given the GTS was nothing special besides the emblem GTS compared to the S model.
I'm mostly stunned about the GT prices. the car was the cheapest MSRP Vantage for sale but somehow the GT letter ask for a premium.

That is not true. The GT is mechanically an S, with many options built into its MSRP that would have been extra on the base Vantage. They could be optioned up any way you wanted, only limitations being color and interior. The GTS are limited edition, S's with many standard options. The LUX version with standard B&O stereo. The GT and the GTS are the last and the best of the NA V8 Vantage.

The 100 limitation was a reaction that the Vantage didn't meet the new side impact laws of September 15th 2015.
(Some cars to get quick of the lot before redesigning the doors.)
I'm not sure what is not true on what I wrote.
The only thing I didn't mention was to downplay it with "cheaper" and "limitations" as you did though.
Sorry for that.
Per your description, it is a cheaper S with .

The GT was AML effort to get the price under 100k and market it quite below the base and the S version. Carbon and some items were removed.
The GTS was a great deal for sure!
AML added a lot of options but priced it below the S. That's being said, that should not justify that the GTS should be priced above the S in the second hand market.
It's called supply and demand. It's called capitalism. Last I looked your free to sell or purchase at whatever price you want or can get. Whether someone thinks it's justified or not is irrelevant.
People don't research and think GT or GTS means more than S, hey more letters means more car at Porsche.
I just bought a 2016 GT and I'm loving it. Funny enough the sticker after all options put it over 130k
so much for the entry level concept.
As always at the end of a production run, especially in 2016s, they were just throwing all the parts they had at these things.
I think any of the last 2016s will be the most desirable, final runs, last of the AM V8's with a manual and updated interior.
everyone enjoy their cars!

I checked and it's only up to $80,000 with 4 days left. Hopefully it will go higher, that's a bit low.
