Leak of some sort

I haven't started by 2007 DB9 Volante in several weeks. It has been sitting in the garage with the battery tender. Went through the "key on - foot to the floor and start button" routine to build up oil pressure so I could start it properly. Pulled out of garage, stopped, and got out of the car to lower the garage door. Backed out the driveway and went on my errand. Came home, and noted the stain on the asphalt and a secondary line about a foot to the right. Wife went out after I left, and said that the substance was clear and oily. That sounds like motor oil. The position would seem the right position for a leak at the drain plug. Once I was home, I pulled into the garage, waited 30 minutes, and checked the oil. The level was right at the max.

I had an exact same issue last march after I had let the car sit for awhile. The track of the drip is the same. It just appears when I start, and not after I have driven for awhile. I have no idea what this could be from. Any ideas?

Thanks in advance

Scott

Transmission oil cooler lines if in fact its oil and biased to the RH side. I would recommend checking at the front cooler matrix to start as that is an easy inspection area without a lift.

I will try and get a better location. The large puddle seems to be where the oil pan is, based on where I park. The longer line to the left is on the driver's side. It only appears when I initially start, and does not reappear. I guess time to put some Kraft paper down and pinpoint it.

The undertrays on the db9 can cause leaks to travel. You'll probably have to put the car up and pull off the tray to find the leak.
