Just how 'leaky' is your Aston Martin?
When I bought my 2007 V8 Vantage a couple of years ago I was aware of the 'weeping' from the timing cover, which turned into a minor leak. I had a clean garage floor for a while after having that fixed, but after a recent drive I noticed a new leak from a different spot (closer to the driver's side). Naturally I'll monitor and get to the bottom of this one, but I'm wondering if this will be a constant chase? I know that cars driven less frequently are more prone to this, and not all leaks need 24 hours of labor to fix like the timing cover one, but what's everyone else's experience with this?

My (new) 2015 V8GT had a timing cover leak as well as a transaxle leak - not enough to drop oil on the floor - more of a weep. Both fixed under warranty. My current Vantage has a timing cover weep and one valve cover weep, again not enough to drop oil on the floor. My 2007 Vantage, a 2009 Vantage, two 2015 V12S and a 2017 V12S all remained bone dry. The GT had a pinch of the seal/gasket during assembly - so much for 'hand made'.
My 2013 V8V is dry as a bone at 20.5K. After I got the timing cover leak fixed a couple of years ago!
I just can't abide a car that leaks. With the exception of my 1989 Alfa Romeo Milano - fluid leaks are standard equipment on those. The guy I bought it from told me that if I didn't like leaks, I shouldn't buy an old Italian car. So at least I was forewarned.

When I had my PPI done on my 2009 V8V back when i bought it in 2017, the tech had a note about a slight weeping at the Timing cover... The SA at the Aston Dealer at that time gave me an estimate of about $2500+ or so and I used it as a negotiating point with the PO. It has never ever leaked dripped or weeped since. Fingers crossed

Look online. I remember seeing someone had fixed the cover without taking the front subframe off. AM says you have to remove the front end but it looks like this guy did it at home in his garage.
