Show your pics of the V8V 6 Bar Grille in Matt-Platinum vs Chrome

Hi guys,

I am currently considering getting the 6 Bar Grille for my V8V.

I am stuck between the matt-platinum(dark grey) finish versus the chrome finish.

Can you guys share pics of yours if you have either of the above?

It would help tremendously!

My 09 Vantage is currently listed on Bring-a-Trailer with a brand new platinum grille.

This is what my bright-finish grille looked like up until a few weeks ago:

This is what it looks like now:

So shiny.

No, they totaled it. There's subframe damage, and their estimate to fix it was over $68k.

Anyway, the 6-bar grille looks good on Vantages, but I think whether you go with bright or matte finish depends on the color of the car and the look you're going for. My recommendation is to make it match the other trim.

My personal preference is the bright finish.

Bright finish works well, pained grills suffer from rock chips and look horrible later in life.

Oh gosh, can you tell us what happened or is it too hard to re-live?
