Anyone hear from Rich at Redpants? I’ve sent him two emails in 6 days but haven’t heard back.
1. Placed order
2. Emailed to ask for product availability of order as I heard from vendor 8 week delay
3. Emailed to cancel order so I could order another product.
Does he communicate here? I ordered a filter kit a month ago and all went well. Maybe on holiday?

I'd advise to deal with a different source. I had an order that was messed up and I tried to get in touch with him for weeks with no response at all. I returned the package, at my own cost because I couldn't believe he wouldn't correct things but now I sit with nothing at all. I've seen other posts regarding his flaky behavior as well. Just ridiculous.

He was banned from 6speedonline by Internet Brands. They don’t do that without a good reason (usually it is for non payment). While he was here he was well respected by members and had a good reputation. I don’t know why it all went bad but his help and expertise is missed.
I have ordered a half dozen times without any issues. His videos were what turned me onto the Vantage and I attribute my purchase and love of the brand to him. I am not discounting the numerous threads about his poor communication, just giving my experience.
Rich is a really good guy. When he lived in VA 6 or 7 years ago, he helped me install my cat delete pipes from VAP. That was when he was just starting Redpants. Trying to make a living in the aftermarket AM world is tough. There just aren't the numbers of vehicles to make a real go of it.
I have met Rich and personally I wish him all the best. I think most customers would be patient with him. That said he has to find a way to communicate with his customers on a timely basis. Thats the only way his business can survive.
If you go to his website, they are in the process of moving and won't start shipping orders until September. So hopefully all will get straightened out. It is a small niche market and he is doing all of us a service. So I support him and wish him nothing but the best.
