Was a snap on my DB11. It depends one which ones you buy. some of them are generic and require a hole to be drilled in the door bottom to mount the light housing. Others are a direct replacement for the factory light and are plug/play which mine were. Mine were about ten minutes total time to install.
They are very bright. Can even see them in daylight. I purchased them on Amazon last year. I cannot post a link because of the sensitivity on this particular site, but here is a pic of the box they came in. Should be easy to find.
Thanks so much PhuketPaul- (been there---loved it!)--- my doors are NOT coming off for the puddle lights, espec as I seldom drive at night! LoL
Appreciate the info! Tom
Yes, in the case of the DB11. The aftermarket AM puddle lights look just like the factory OEMs.
A whole bunch of manufacturers must have used this same vendor for OEM lights as the shape and mounting technique are the same for a number of cars that I've swapped out for puddle lights - Bentley, AMG GTS, Corvette(s)
I've made the mistake of buying the ones that are generic and require a hole to be made in the bottom of the door (even came with a hole saw in the kit), but I never installed these types; wouldn't waste the time.
