Has anyone replaced the weatherstrip at the front portion of the door window? I can't seem to find any guidance on this. Mine is deformed for some reason and has been letting water in sufficiently that I am not amused by it. I have the part on order, but I have yet to figure out how to remove and install the new one. This piece:
I haven't done this before but it looks like you will need to remove the door card and the mirror. Check the AM Vantage technical manual. You can down load it, I think it's in FAQ section of this forum. Good luck 👍
So I can explain how to change the seal - it's a bit of a task - but before you try that, there's another quicker option that you may work for you.
I changed my division bar seal because it rucked-up when the window was elevated and got pinched by the glass, but after renewing it I discovered my new seal deformed in exactly the same way as the old one. After lots of head-scratching I figured out that it was an adjustment issue, even though there's no mention of that in the manual.
The division bar that the seal sits in goes down into the door cavity but there is a small 10mm nut visible through the internal door panel circular vent hole. Loosen this, and the screw it is mounted on can then be adjusted with a 3mm internal hex key; you can turn in or out to effectively pivot the whole quarter glass and mirror assembly slightly towards the body or away from it. If you screw the hex inwards (clockwise) it brings the mirror, division bar and quarter glass towards the body, and anti-clockwise pushes it away. I found that once I had adjusted this and run the main door window up and down a few times with plenty of silicon spray and a bit of coaxing from a plastic trim tool, then the seal corrected itself. And as the quarter glass was now pressing more firmly into the body seal when the door was closed, it also eliminated a small water leak I had.
So it's worth trying to adjust the division bar first, before you get into seal replacement. If that doesn't work for you let me know, and I'll explain the lengthy steps to get the seal replaced - but you're likely to have to adjust the division bar using the above process afterwards anyway.
That is the most British thing I have ever heard of. Of course there's an adjustment...and it isn't in the manual. I will definitely try that approach first, worst case, I have the new seal in hand. I should get a picture of the actual deformity I have observed. Its not letting in a LOT of water, but its enough that with our monsoon season approaching I'd feel better if it was totally dry. Thanks for the Top Tip Percy!

I am curious. This is the seal that sits on top of the door opening and seals that area when the window is raised.? Sent us a picture.
Forget the pic, I just looked at your original post. (smile)
If it helps to visualise it, go to the Scuderia parts list for the mirror assembly (https://www.scuderiacarparts.com/par.../156/804/25150) and you'll see the adjuster at the bottom of the division bar (item 7 is the locknut).
