The hydraulic fluid hoses on my Vantage SportShift II are cracking and need replacement. Appears to be just a hose replacement and fluid refill job. Anything else I should be aware of?

 

It is recommended to get the upgraded silicone hoses when it is done to prevent this in the future. Otherwise straightforward, although the correct fluid is not cheap.

Yep, got the new hoses and fluid already.

 

Just FYI, my shop recently did the hoses and fluid flush on my SS1 which was successful and straightforward. However, I believe that newer SS2 may need an AMDS to help reset clutch parameters when bleeding the system? There's a thread on this forum that goes into detail and Stuart from VAP comments on this. I'm not an expert on the matter so this may only apply when replacing the clutch. Perhaps research a little more just in case so the job runs smoothly. Good luck!!
