Switched Fuse for camera

Hey all,
I'm looking for a suitable switched fuse (one that is only provides power while the car is on) to add a camera to my 2012 V8 Vantage S.

I was going to use fuse 17, labeled as boot lamp, but when I remove the fuse, it's clearly not the boot lamp.

Trying to get one from the trunk fuse box, but having a difficult time getting the listing in the owners manual to match the function.

Anyone have a good suggestion?

When I've done projects in the past needing a switched circuit in the cabin the goto fuse on practically any platform was the windshield wipers. You haven't given details, but if you're looking in the trunk fusebox, is it correct to assume you're trying for a camera in the back seat through the back window?

I'm attempting to tap into the fusebox in the trunk for a front facing parking camera. I have a cable that runs from the Apple CarPlay setup in the trunk to the front of the car and powers the camera. Main issue I'm having, is that none of the fuses in the trunk appear to power what they're listed as in the owners manual. Many of them are listed as Roadster fuses for various functions related to the convertible top; however I have a coupe.
The one fuse I was able to confirm is for the exhaust bypass valves; however, I was hoping to not use that one as I'd prefer to leave my remote plugged into it so I can enable/disable at will to avoid the droning while driving long distances.

Below is a screen cap of what I see in the manual for a 2012 V8 Vantage.
F2 is not the power outlet in the trunk, as it still functions when removed.
F17 is not the lamps in the boot

Given these don't match up, I'm afraid of tapping into something important...

The trunk is a tough spot. I wouldn't use any fuse loc marked (module).

What about F22? Sometimes the "power outlet" (cigarette lighter of old) are switched off with ign, sometimes not. Often they have nothing else on them BC of the higher amps. I would look for these two outlets (F2 and F22) anywhere in the rear of the car - trunk, back seat, etc. In my experience if a car has two power outlets, they are often split - one is on all the time, the other is switched.

Looks like F14 was consistent across most model types and years, and works as described.

Tapping into the parking sensors, it's only a 5 AMP fuse, but should work just fine for my small front parking camera.

Consider using a fuse tap. That way you can maintain the original fuse for its use, then change the fuse rating for your new device all on the same +12v.

I've used these a number of times and keep spares around for future stuff.

I added front and rear cameras to my Vantage. I used a box and wired camera for the front that had video and power in one feed and mounted the box in the rear compartment where the GPS is located... there are several write ups in this forum if you do a search

I had tapped into a wire on the park assist module. It has a conveniently located reverse indicator wire that's perfect for powering the camera. De-pinned the connector, spliced the wire, slipped on heatshrink, and re-pinned. If you have the car's wiring diagram it's pretty easy to find which pin to use. I'm not sure where that module is located on the Vantage coupe, but it's under the left rear seat on DB9.

2007 vantage. I used the fuse for the active exhaust valve.

For 2012 Vantage... From the CEM, fuse F79 which is the reverse lamp output, line BUP(3) to the Park Aid Module pin 6. (Green with Black wire) This is the easiest place to pick up the reverse signal power in the rear of the car.

@Batman-76 Originally from Glendale, AZ, but moved to GA almost 10 years ago. Currently just north of Milton. We love it out here. Much more favorable weather and scenery for us than the desert.
