aftermarket door and hatch struts?
That doesn't surprise me in the slightest. LSD also lists Stabilus air strut parts on their website which are the OEM for the factory parts. I'd almost bet money they're exactly the same minus the blue AM printing directly on the tubes.

I'm with you there, Mark. I replaced my trunk struts with the LSD stainless at a time when it was hard to get them. Recently I did the the door struts with the factory parts and while they were 3-4x the cost of aftermarket, they still weren't that bad. Some owners want to minimize the maintenance cost at all costs and sometimes parts can be hard to find. It's a personal decision.

besides who wants to pay bespoke Aston Martin prices for the same parts...AML cars are loaded with the same parts used in Ford, Volvo, etc... at a significant cost savings than AML prices
