Rapide ride height

Good evening,
I am looking at refreshing my whole front suspensions system, and the workshop manual is warning to pay attention to the "ride height" when tightening the nuts.
I just measured on my Rapide, one side is at 400 mm, the other side is at 380 mm.
Was wondering if a fellow Rapide owner could measure on his car and confirm the proper ride height.
Thanks in advance!

Another thing I am thinking about: What could be causing the difference in ride height? A shot shock? A broken spring? Lower control arm out of specs?

How are you measuring the ride height?

Also make sure the car is on very flat ground, even a little unevenness can cause incorrect measurements. Can you post the workshop manual language? Not sure how tightening bolts can change ride height. This may just be a British translation issue and by ride height they just mean putting weight on the suspension before tightening control arm bolts.

Sorry, this is what I meant with "ride height", the distance between the center of the rim to the car body.
Language of the workshop manual:

They're not saying you need to measure the height of the car, what they're telling you to do is put the weight of the car on the suspension before tightening bolts so that the rubber bushings are not twisted.

I know, I know. I am just trying to identify which of my side is out of specs. I assume that's the 380 mm side, but trying to compare the ride height with other Rapide out there.

Now, I just saw the video on Aston1936, and the ride height for the DB9 is 378 mm, so I am starting to wonder if the shock on the 400 mm side is the culprit...

This is what the workshop manual calls for:

I wonder how many shops / dealers stick to these specs when doing the suspension work
