we bought this last week to replace my wife's subaru legacy gt limited wagon which we had owned for 6+ years...

2011 a4 avant 2.0t/tip, 8k miles, premium plus, nav, sport packages. car is bone stock, we are still getting it all set up and figuring it all out. so far we really like the car, not all that fast (subi was faster), but much more solid feeling and comfortable with all the new features. here are some pix taken this past weekend after a bath and a wax. we got a relatively rare color combo, the teak metallic/tan interior which my wife really likes although it is not the normal color combo you see on audis..

my wife commented that it seemed not as quick as her subi wagon so i asked her if she wanted to get it chipped..she almost threw me out of the car.

nice avant. the a4's are the best looking around. i almost bought one last week, but ended up with an a6 sedan. just chip that puppy and she'll never know. throw a k04 on there and it will make well over 300hp.

Definitely love the purchase, I am thinking of something similar in the future, let's say in the next 4-5 years when the family arrives. Color selection is just perfect, motorization too, great car to own and drive I'm sure!

 

love the color... I'd own one of these for my daily if they would put the twin clutch transmission from my A3 into it.

 

i hear you on the dual clutch...we have it in our 06 jetta 2.0t and of course i have it in my m3...but this is my wife's car and the 8 speed auto is just fine for her uses!

 

Nice! I got a black with grey interior A4 Avant last week as my daily driver so I could cut down on the amount I have to drive the Porsche.

I really like it, seriously thinking about an APR ECU chip to get a bit more 'pep' out of it, but don't want to compromise the mileage too much.
