TRADE Feeler: My 996TT for your E60M5

The Good:
Car runs great and has been properly mechanically maintained continuously. Runs very strong and has held its own against superior machines. Has always been a very reliable daily driver. After the clutch link modification its very easy to drive with or without an aftermarket race clutch. Brand new OEM clutch just installed. All fluids have just been fully bled and replaced. As stated above it comes with a lot of extras. Interior is in great shape, the paint matched center console and Navi update the interior in a hurry. Below are pictures from about 2 months ago, since then all lips/skirts have been painted and GT2 add on wing has been installed.
The Bad:
Need to get rid of her for a 4 Door sedan for work. Its imperative that I have something to haul clients around with... the Turbo has many GREAT qualities but that one lol. The E60 M5 is my choice for this alternative after a lot of investigating. With M5 values dropping like crazy and no one feeling secure I figure its easier for us to trade rather than to try and sell our vehicles.
The Ugly:
I am more than willing to be 100% honest on the condition and I expect the same back. No accidents. Its been used as a daily driver so there is a tiny little ding here and there. Nothing major at all, car looks great. Front bumper was repainted recently for rock chips. Rear spoiler hydraulic system is not working properly, very common on these cars. It does raise and lower with speed but button control can only raise and not lower. I meant to replace the whole decklid with a GT2 decklid and harness but I want to get rid of the car so no sense in doing it. It does have a GT2 add-on wing though with the hydraulic system just disconnected. One rear OZ Superleggera wheel seems to have a leak... daily driving in NYC streets I am sure caused this. OEM CF Steering wheel and aluminum shift **** have some noticeable wear. I havent had time to diagnose why the keyless entry is not working properly. It works when it feels like it. Not sure if its a range problem.

good luck Lee. I'm thinking of the same swap myself!! either for an M5 or an M3 coupe. Why not go to a dealer and trade it in? You save alot on tax that way too... If you do find a swap, I might be interested in the coils.
Thanks man. I was talking to a dealership a few weeks ago about swapping for an M5 they had since used M5s are not too common in dealerships but the sales guy who I ordered a brand new M3 from was really not trying to help me out so I just told him to go fck himself. I am out of the country right now so when I get back in a few weeks I will more into it. If anything happens I will see what I can do about the coils
.Anybody interested in such a swap?
Good luck with your trade. I just came out of a '03 turbo and into a 08 M5. The M is an awesome sedan but the turbo is an awesome sports car. I needed 4 doors because my kids are getting too big to sit in the back of the turbo.
Be prepared to spend more on gas.
BTW, I have arctic silver rear bumperettes lying around somewhere.
