@Bwings - wow thanks for the great lesson in electronics. I will try that. I did try using resistors once in my low voltage garden lighting but they heated up so much and I know it was because I wasn't using the correct numbers. I hope these numbers you provided will work out better in this project. Thanks again
No prob. You should/could look for a load resistor. This on is the wrong ohms, but these are made to handle the heat dissipate.
I’m on the fence on if I should just replace all 4 bulbs or try to go with the updated lights. This all depends on the shop fixing my bumper if they want to go through the extra headache of taking the lights all the way out or just enough to get a hand back there since the bumper would be off anyway. So I’m going through these threads and I don’t know if I missed it or what, but it seems like no one really gave any info on what bulbs/L.E.D’s they used that actually worked. I see post saying “I did it!” Or “Would this one work” but no solid “I used this l.e.d from this place and it’s works.” I’m looking for 5000k. Like the white look rather then the bluish tint which would look crazy on my Cypress color in my eyes. I want to order them before I take the car in. I would like to order something that has been tried, tested and true then guessing. Any help is greatly appreciated. Again...if I just missed the whole thread about it, I apologize.

Nope. I check the reviews on that Sorna company and I’ll pass on them. Tooooooooo many negative reviews of people saying they took their money and their product was sub subpar 🤣. So I’m still looking. I just might go with a OEM. I did have my eye on this one tho:

But add my own lights is a route I may go. Getting tired of the search 😆
Very nice bumper, this is my option I don't like the round lights to many round light 4 on top & then 2 at the bottom, Unless you can get them to modify the panel & install some nice LED's would look top dollar mate ...
TJ ... I have these super bright LED's lights the same ones that are on my car, if you Like them & want to incorporate into the new bumper I can send them over ...

TJ Are these just for the Front headlights all 4 ...
I hope so...lol
Im just trying to get a more uniformed look. Like everyone else I don’t like the yellowish look of the parking lights and I might as well change the headlight bulbs while I’m in there
Yes of course the front end is been removed so why not, id change as much as possible while its open, no me neither the yellow side lights look rubbish, need to do mine when I upgrade to angel eyes, have you considered installing them ...
Yep I seen and thought about upgrading to those but I can not justify the cost in my head ($1800 or so) for them right now. Trying to get the house together to move while looking for another house in Vegas, that money will be going to a more important cause. So I’ll just settle for the bulb change right now.
Hi I’m about to change the above and after reading your thread I’m confident I’ll be able to do it can you confirm which lamps you used for yours and did you have to put a load resistor in to clear the Canbus fault.

with bruised arms and hands, I almost gave up... I think the hardest part was putting the caps back on, with the fear of dropping them in the engine. So I came up with this idea in pictures below. I drilled small wholes in the tab portion of the caps and attached string on each of the caps!! 😎 They can never get lost in engine bay!
