TPMS Light- turn off?

Does anyone know if the TPMS dash warning light can be turned off, i.e disable the system? I know you can turn the system off via the infotainment but the dash warning light is still present. My car is a '04 Continental GT RHD

First, pull the fuse #11 from the fuse box located in the driver side trunk panel on top of the battery.

Next, buy the Vag can bus scanner V202.

go to menu #19 from the scanner, hit coding, type in 0000006.

This worked perfectly for my 04 GT

I got mine off ebay, right around 100 bucks US. Shipped from China and arrived in 21 days. It plugs into a port near the drivers feet. On left hand drive car it is on the panel on the left side, on a right hand drive it might be reversed.

excellent thanks again Paul... I have spent a fortune on this system and it keeps going wrong... Bentley have just quoted me £1800 to repair the system... I say 'repair' .. they just replace all of the sensors and the control module. I have been looking for this fix for a long time!! Jamie

So for 60 pounds you will have no more warning lights. You will have to remember to check your air pressure in your tires once in a while though. Good trade off in my opinion.

Hi Paul... I have ordered the scanner, but the supplier has told me that it cannot be used for programming and that it only reads codes?

Howe do I type in 0000006?

cheers

Jamie

Can you send me a picture of your scanner please?

If you get the V-checker 202 you can do much more than just read the codes, you can clear them and change some values.

BAD V Checker v202

I purchased a V Checker V202 but the connector does not fit my OBD2 port. Has anyone else had this problem? I contacted the seller and they acknowledged that they had a problem with their manufacturer. I wonder if someone can recommend a different OBD2 device that will work the same way as the V202. I want to turn off my TPMS.

Thanks you all for any help here. My 2005 GT was sold in US, if that makes a difference.
