Started the last phase of my system its been interesting, removed the stock amp plugs & chop away ... Purchased a pair of easy push fit plugs 10 pin one for the right side and one for the left, the 2 rear door base are bridged at the 4 channel amp I'll connect the 2 plus & 2 negative in one pin each on the right plug which I've done today. the sub box is up & running on the 5 channel amp ...

Fired up the new amps today and oh my word the difference in sound you can't compare, guys the stock amp is what it is but now I have 9 channels so here's the lot ...
13 speakers
9 channels
2 amps
1 field control system
11 band EQ
once I set it up over the weekend I'll up load a video on YouTube & you guys can hear the sounds ...

The last bit of wiring done today ...

Very nice! Looks like a nice clean install with all quality components and excellent workmanship. Curious, is your sub powered and were you able to time align your drivers?

No worries on the data. With 9 independently controlled channels it must sound really good indeed.

Was just curious as to what software/crossover you used to set the delays/crossover points.

Did something similar in my home audio (2 channel) setup using an ipad conrolled dbx 360 / rta-m microphone and 3 2-channel amps and was wondering how the automotive equivalent worked.

Looking online, seems this control is all built into the better head units these days?

Used a RTA microphone and an Audio Control software SA-4100i to set up the different speakers. Yes it sounds amazing ... You can't really compare to home audio as the area is much larger in the home, we talking about a confined space to listen to the best sound possible. with 13 speakers the sound I hear from around the car is fantastic, Im not a guy who turns up the sound so the whole street can hear it but only within the vehicle. It was all about the quality sound for me listening to all the instruments ... Yes the head unit dose a lot these days but its limited with the crossover and built in EQ ...

Rico.Adams I’ve been around. Had a really bad experience with a seller/company on eBay that I was buying 2 pair of Focal F3’s from. Waited over a month for them all while he was saying he sent them. Found he was selling items he didn’t have in stock and was waiting on inventory to arrive. Started a refund with eBay and no lie..10 mins later I received a tracking number. Found out he was using some company called DPD and they basically told me they haven’t received anything. Big headache so I’m looking for another vendor. I refuse to pay $900 here in the US when I know I can get them for $500-$550 elsewhere. Other then that just preparing to head to Gatlinburg In August (the mountains)

Wow not nice but at least you receive a full refund, ya DPD are a courier company here in the UK. See what I can do for you on the Focal's. Have a great time in the mountains sounds fantastic ... Me I can't even go to the local park Lol ... Whats left on your system just the speakers or you doing the amps too ...

Amps, Mosconi 8 to12 and sub. I was waiting to get everything before I get started but I’m going to run my rca’s this week and order my sound deadening in a few weeks.
