Mangled key 2008 FS

Someone tried to destroy my key. Damaging and removing the lock and trunk buttons. The actual Electronic buttons behind the rubber solder broke off. Rubber is all mangled too

Metal key works fine and car recognizes key and push button start still works.

i am getting a key icon in the middle lcd, anyone know what that is.

is my only option the dealer?

can i get the pin code with this

https://rover.ebay.com/rover/0/0/0?mpre=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.ebay.com%2Fulk%2Fitm%2F16 3829057028

and reprogram a key from ebay with vcds and the pin? Or can i order fresh / blank keys to program from some place

Who do you suspect did this and why?

There are sources on the interwebs where you can buy after market remote fobs.

I know who did it and the why unfortunately. I bought an aftermarket unprogrammed key fob on ebay. I also bought the vagkey to get the pin code and I will use VCDS to try and assign it to the kessy.

I will let you guys know how it turns out.

I'm curious, too. New keys (come in pairs) cost $1,000 at the dealer.

So far, with all my research, I have not found a secondary/non-dealer supplier that works on the Bentley. I guess they really and truly didn't want their cars stolen.
