Naim System Issue - System Starting.......but never does

Got a 2015 GT V8s with Naim Infotainment.

On start up message just hangs, showing system starting.....but doesn’t actually change or start. Worked sporadically but now not worked for nearly 3 weeks at all

The car is my dd, 20 miles each way to work

Was advised on other forums that this could be due to low LHS battery which was reading 11.7v when engine off

Changed battery in line with correct procedures( pretty sure) but still not getting the system running.

Any ideas or suggestions to what could cause this

Other than the option of settings and a bit of music, I’m due for new tyres and need to be able to use jack mode

Thanks

the screen shot of the actual unit sits like this then now and again restarts as if trying to reboot and you hear some whirring but never quite gets over the line

Message in the instrument panel sits showing this

it will connect to my phone but doesn’t send the sound over the speakers

Checked the 3 fuses and they are all intact

My 2015 Speed with Naim has the same issue. It is a software problem and will need to be reloaded. Mine started doing it the exact same way you describe.
The only other option is to get a new infotainment unit, which is over 4000 and your unit as core deposit. If you do that, make sure you get a Naim loaded unit. A non Naim unit will not give you any sound at all.

That is not a DIY project. You have to take it to the Bentley dealer. Depending on the dealer they will likely try and convince you that they can't reload the software and will say you have to buy a whole new unit. This is a known problem, but still pretty rare, so they may not have the software update on hand, so you should call ahead to make sure. I live 6 hour round trip away from a dealer, that is why I haven't gone in to get mine updated yet.
