Back to the original thread, I am just starting to get familiar with E90/92 M3 mods. Is this car a particularly strong example? Because the can of whoop a%$ it opened up on the 6 speed E92 car was unreal! And to Curio what do you have done to yours and was the 12.1 @ 115 on stock tires?

 

Bolt on's and no 12.1@115 was on drag radials, but my line lock was not setup correctly. That was with a 1.95 60 foot and now the car can hit 1.7x's.

 

launch control and DR's? Which DR's? So it seems like the MDCT and rear end is pretty strong if it holds up to drag strip abuse.

That was on BFG's, I moved to a MT and am hitting better 60 foots.

 

Hmm now thats funny MT's on a BMW! Are they on the stock wheels or which wheels do you use? And when is the nitrous kit coming? Now that would really surprise the heck out of people!

 

Well, its just a drag radial, what is so funny? They are not the MT slicks. Mounted on an 18 as finding a 17 that fits the rear brake is a hassle.

You got me looking at the Nano system, but does it work just fine with a remote bottle opener?

Yep it will work fine with a remote bottle opener, I will be ordering one soon for what will hopefully be my last year on the spray. I know the MT's hook alot better than the Nitto or BFG DR's. Toyo just recently released a drag radial as well.

 

The MT drag radial is the best out there.

Now I know you guys have a problem (esp. Curio) with ASR but they provide the best nitrous system for the BMW ///M cars.
You do not need any Nano system.

It is a bullet-proof system, like it or not.
