Cantrell/Carnewal Customer reviews
Some of you in this section may have seen previously when I put up information regarding our Carnewal Exhaust treatment. I took some time to gather customer thoughts and reactions to this upgrade, for those curious.
Here are the results:
"I figured I'd post an update after having the Cantrell GT Exhaust fitted for aproximately two weeks. The warmer than normal winter in the North East has allowed me to get out and drive quite a bit. Here are my thoughts:
1. I wish I had done this mod sooner.
2. The exhaust truly transforms the car and the driving experience.
3. Still no perceived drone. Also, no buzzing or rattling of cabin trim as noted in some
other A/M exhaust applications.
4. If you are on the fence, I would not hesitate in pulling the trigger for this mod."
"I love this investment.
As subtle as the Carnewal exhaust is, it still get attention when you rev the motor up high.
If you are worried about the drone buy this set. If you want to save money buy this set.
You will love the results.
Drive between some structures at 4 to 6k RPM the car sounds like a beast now.
Accelerating up to freeway speed the car feels and sounds like a new car."
"Well, I have to say I was just hoping I was going to get the results I wanted without being too much of a straight pike effect. I wasn't disappointed!!
The sound in the garage after the install left me wondering if it was too much but outside in the low revs it was still civil with no hard looks for the local law enforcement.
But bring the revs up past 4K and BAM! A wild aggressive, get out of my way, I'm looking for V8 blood, imitators not allowed, here I am kind of music to my ears!
For those who have done the GT change over, you know what improvements to the sound and performance I'm referring to.
Now add the benefits of the catless headers, being sound and an additional HP increase ( unknown but maybe 5 to 8? ) and I can't see how anyone could possibly be disappointed in this mod. All for under $ 1800!!!
If you are on the fence, don't be. Do it and turn you sedate Cayman back into a 'Mistress'!"
These are just a few I have compiled. For those of you interested, here is a link directly to our website:

As always feel free to call, email, or PM with any questions or comments!
Thanks,
Zach

What numbers are you referring to? Pricing is the same in the PM I sent you, as it is on our website. If you are referring to power numbers; the number I gave you was a maximum, but I stated we had not yet put any cars on the dyno to confirm. In this case, everything in the PM I sent you is correct and lines up with everything here.
Let me know what you think is different, so we can get that cleared up!
Thanks,
Zach

buddy of mine in Seattle has is white PDK Cayman done with this and I had a chance to hear it and its was SMOKING HOT sounding !! not too crazy overbearing but a nice clean raspy Porsche sound that sounded like it should have from the factory ,Very GT-3 sounding IMO .Highly reccomemned !!! I have this exhaust on my 07 CS and LOVE it!!! I had an AWE which was a bit louder and yes made more power. BUT, the AWE had drone. I didn't buy a Porsche to listen to some annoying resonance. I swapped it out for the Carnewal exhaust (but kept the black chrome AWE tip) and never regretted it. It gives the car the sound I wanted and none of the drone.
