Exclamation Cayman S Lease

A friend of mine is looking to lease a Cayman S. She got pricing on a 36-month lease, 10,000 a year, with 4K down. MSRP 68K, was quoted $1,000 a month. I'm thinking that's a bit to much for a Cayman S, anyone know of any better deals or can someone recommend a dealer.

I believe the dealers in the NY Tri-state area are having a special for $648, not sure on the terms though. I'll find out tomorrow. They had an ad out in the Wall Street Journal 2 days ago.

My brother-in-law got his Cayman S from Ray Catena in Edison, NJ - no Cap Cost and sub $900 mo/ payments with 10k a year, 36 months. MSRP was also around $68k

Went through them also for my 997S - nobody in the tri-state NY area could even come to close the lease terms they gave me...

Let me know if you'd like the salesman's name over there that helped us - a pleasure to deal with...

$1k a month seems a bit high. I would definitely look into that special offer, sounds great if the terms are right!

That's what I was thinking $1,000 is way to high.

$1000 a month is about right. BMW, Mercedes, Audi will always have much lower payments on much higher priced cars. Supply and demand? Porsche thinking? Who knows????

$650 a month is a National lease special for the regualr Cayman with only the Preffered Package. It does not include tax and it is with around $4500 out of pocket for 36 months 10K miles per year. Hope this helps!

Ya thanks that helped. I found her a fully loaded Cayman S for 4K down, 3 years, 10,000 miles a year for $900 and thats including the tax and license. Her other option is an 335i fully loaded Black/Red for $810, but what do you guys think is better for a girl in her 20's?

Called them. Lease special is for people only living in the tri-state, if they sold the car in CA they would have to go through CA leasing they said which is the same right. All they can do is mark down MSRP.

Good deal!

For the price the cayman over the 335 anyday. It really depends on the persons personality. I would need more background but usually the BMW is the more sensible choice. My fiance is 24 and drives a Cayman S. Looks hot IMHO

I'm looking at possibly leasing a CS as well in CA.

I'm at 4k below MSRP with a 36mos/15k year with 5k down (I know, I know way more than one should be putting down on a lease - - c'est la vie...)

I'm roughly at $850/mo and that includes local tax (tax rate of 7.375)

I still think I can negotiate down to 5k below but the difference monthly is quite trivial...

Keep looking and negotiate harder the deals are there in this economy!!

Gotta love the employee discount. I went into the Benz dealership yesterday. They told me I could lease a SL550 for 1200 a month. 100k car for only 1200 a month! I was tempted but I'm still just gonna by my LE Boxster.
