Looking for some recommendations for tires for my 2014 Cayman s with 20" rims
I only use the car for HPDE track days only but I do drive it to the track

Options are limited with 20" wheels.
Mich Cup2 tires seem like they'll work the best.

If you're willing to buy 18" wheels then you can get a stickier tire like Nitto 01.
This is what I use at the track on my 981 Cayman S.
If it's not raining, I drive them to the track.

Good choices above. I would also consider Toyo 888's.

 

If you only use the car for HPDE track days, I'd be looking at 18" wheels/tires.

Several really sticky options in 18", that will get you there and back quickly and safely (barring any rain).

 

thanks. I ordered perelli trofeo's already. they were really the only streetable track tire I could find. Not cheap!!!
hopefully they are worth it. Maybe I'll change wheels next time.
