CTT Navigation issue...PLEASE HELP

I just picked up a Cayenne Turbo and while I turned the truck off to get gas then turned it back on and the Navigation wont start. It says navigation starting but it only gets about 4 bars and stops. It also says that disk is unreadable. It is the same disk I have been using and is in perfect shape. Any ideas???? I would really appreciate any help I could get.

THanks

i had something similar, while driving the car would turn off by itself.
took to the dealer and they ended up replacing the whole unit at HBL.

I had this issue in the 997tt and the CD was backward... so this could be a issue with the CD being dirty or unreadable?

Having same issue as original poster right now.

Car battery was completely dead somehow on Sat morning. Must have left door slightly open / light on / or something because when I went out to the car a few hours later the battery was so dead it wouldn't even unlock the doors. Anyway, jumped it and was back to normal 20 secs later.

That said, next time I hit the "Map" button and gave me a screen with "Starting Navigation" and one of the 4 bars is filled in blue but the rest never get to full blue. I've let it sit like that for 15-20 mins at a time and it never goes past the first status bar.

I'll try removing and replacing the DVD. Anyone else have this problem?

Have you tried to reset your system? There was a procedure posted @ renntech.org and it was pretty simple to reset your system, might help or not? Don't know for sure.

Have not tired to reset.

Anyone know the procedure to do that? I unfortunately don't have the PCM manual. I have the CTT manual but that doesn't cover Navigation features/settings.

Just tried that Renntech method and it unfortunately did not work.

When I hit the map button I just get a black screen with several white boxes across it and only the first one lights up in blue, the rest just stay unlit and it never changes. Was same exact issue before and after the reset process.
