Q: Air Suspension & Steering Wheel

I’m looking at buying a used 2008 Cayenne S, I want to lower it with the electronic lowering module.

Does the Cayenne S come with air suspension? From the looks of the pictures of the various used ones I’ve seen online, I don’t see any with air suspension listed as an option? Or is this a standard option on all Cayenne’s?

Also, is it possible to replace the steering wheel that has synthetic wood with one that’s all leather? I saw a post yesterday where a GTS owner (Cpa4S) replaced his steering wheel with a ‘thicker sport’ leather steering wheel. Where can you buy one of these? Cost?

Thanks…

If yours has air suspension then you'll have the switches in the center shifter console. Click up and the truck goes up, down and it goes down. I think it's only std on the Turbo??

My CTT came with a TechArt steering wheel. Very thick. I love it. I think someone told me they cost around $1k. Not sure if that included installation.

i think the air suspension is an option for a cayenne s.

you can purchase a wood/leather steering wheel at the dealer. no affiliation, but check out sunset imports or suncoast porsche for prices.

ya they stopped doing the heat in 09. glad I have the extra padded heated for 08.
plus I think all GTS come with the PSM standard......or even if it's not standard, they all have it opted out by the dealer, unless you order one without it.
What is the main option that most have but isn't standard is the PDCC.
