Roof rails removable?

Im looking around at CTT's and some have the roof rail options and some dont. I prefer the look without them and I dont want to eliminate a potential option just because of the roof rails.

Is it possible to remove the rail system without leaving any holes etc? Does it just integrate into the built in tracks?

Thanks

Simply unbolt them - they affix to the tracks as you suspected.

I installed roof rails on mine. You just need to remove 2 torque screws per rail and they come right off. The screws are hidden behind a silver rubber plug that is facing the center of the roof. Removal time should take you 5 min max.

Is there any "delete" plates to cover the mounting points after removal. Earlier owner seems to have removed roof rails from mine. Don´t really miss them...

I am mixed on whether I like they better on or off. Most of the highly modded vehicles have them removed. What is the cost to add them new vs used?

I have had a naked roof for 5 years almost now, just picked up the 2 bar across the body of the car roof system from another thread member for 45 bucks.........post a request here if you want to look for them now....and If I dont like the next week, Ill flip em to you.....Was considering painting them and the exhaust tips black......but if i dont like, I can just pass them one.
