I've sold my ipod & bluetooth Nav-TV stuff but still have Sirius Nav-Tv hookup, Nav-tv video interface (if car equipped with AV function enabled), stealthbox, alpine dvd-changer etc....just need to sit down and do a proper classified listing.
I know I am reviving an old thread here, but there is just soo much good info in it. I am actually planning on doing this within the next couple weeks, and everything seems pretty straight forward. I was just hoping to get a little bit more info from someone that has already done this...
What gauge wires did you use the the amp power, ground, remote, etc... I am just trying to get everything figured out so when I go to buy the parts I have everything ready to make things go smoothly when I do the install.
Oh, and here is the sub and amp that I will be going with
JL Audio CS110RG-W3v3
Alpine MRV-V500 with the Rux ****

Hi Skier. Do you still have the Stealthbox or anything else for the Cayenne? I'm looking to upgrade the crappy CR-23 on my 2008 Base. Thanks.
(1) is this the plug that goes into the Bose sub?
(2) does this plug split into the inputs required for the amp ( not the power +,- and remote ) ? I'm used to Using Audi cables as the input but is this using speaker wire instead ?
Lucky for you I am still subscribed to this thread and saw your post... yes, the Alpine amp I was using allowed both speaker level input and RCA. The Bose amp harness only provides the speaker level inputs as seen in the pic.

Ah. Lucky indeed .
I see. I have a pre loved from another car Rockford amp but it only has audio input inputs, not speaker wire inputs. Damn it. Thought I have some cheap recycled amp action.
First thing I need to sort is an annoying buzz/interference noise coming from the front door spks . Happens even when the ignition is off sometimes. You don't have any clues about that too do you?

Never had any buzz issues, but odd that you would get it with the ignition off... usually it is the other way around. LOL
You may be able to use a line level to RCA adapter for that amp. Just not sure how much one would be.

Thanks for the advice anyway. I've seen a few line-> RCA converters, I'll have a think.

Here's my odd speaker noise thread.

@Reborn996 Your photos were amazing, unfortunately I tried the same install and none of my amps would power up. Small 25-300 Watt amps, using the factory wiring, i'm getting no power. Makes no sense as the stock Bose sub works perfectly. I tried the remote, ground and power and nothing... Ugh.
