I bought mine in August of last year. I had a whole bunch of things fixed on it within a couple of months of purchasing it. The warranty didn't run out until April or May this year.

Barrier Porsche has been awesome to deal with. They did a $1500 repair under warranty (steering pump and hoses) for me even though I was 2000 miles and past the expiration date of my warranty. The last repair ($2000 for broken coolant lines in the manifold) was on my dime

I swear, whoever said American cars are not reliable certainly never owned a Porsche Cayenne Turbo! The way I figure it though, I pretty much have a brand new and upgraded '05 CTT.

Yes I will! I am having the coils replaced later this afternoon, I should have it tomorrow morning. I'll see what kind of beast she really is. My friend also sells Revo, has anyone heard how good the program is for CTT? Supposed to do 525 hp, and 530ish torque. We will see.....

For some reason, I've always thought German cars are mechanically reliable but have issues with electronics, but man.... looking at the latest issues I've been reading.... I almost want to move back to Japanese high end brands to get this out of my head.

What bothers me is that, I hate getting stuck on the road due to a major component failure, which seems to happen pretty often in BMW & Porsche Cayenne (due to cheapo plastic pipe fails). Kindda embarrassing to tell you the truth,,,,,

Embarrassing is right! When people see a 1990 Ford Explorer overheating on the side of the road they feel sorry for the owner. When they see me on the side of the road in my Porsche they point and laugh!

I seem to think if you drove other suv's or vehicles as hard as you can drive a Porsche Cayenne you would have alot more repairs on the other cars, I drive mine very hard and I can't believe it doesn't break down more often??

Interesting point...but I can't seem to be able to even drive it on the hwy in straight lines w/o some cheapo plastic part exploding on me. I can't imagine what would happen if I tried to drive it hard! Maybe things would hold together better if I DID drive it harder?

Either way, still can't think of another SUV I'd rather be driving. Just sat in a friend's Range Rover Sport and I just can't believe they charge so much for such a aweful interior. Exterior is awesome but the interior just screams cheap plastic. They could learn a thing or two from Ford or Chevy!

Got the Cayenne back yesterday. I had the wife take it out by herself. She loved it! She was kinda suprised when the boosted kicked in. She said it had plenty of power, but you know us guys always looking for more power. Looks like we are going to get it Revo tuned, and suggestestions on DVsI should use?

Iwould let your tuner recommend which DV's to use. Trying driving using the tiptronic around town, pull the shifter to drive then over to the left and use the buttons on the steering wheel, completely different driving experience but don't forget to shift

I'm kindda regretting that I bought Cayenne,,, who knows what other cheapo parts Porsche used to create this SUV. I should have known when I learned that Porsche & VW shared a good # of parts to create Cayenne.

I should have bought MB G-wagon,,, who knows, might just keep Cayenne 'til the warranty and get rid of it and get myself a nice MB G-wagon afterwards. I have about 1.5yrs to plan
