Tires

I need advice. Just bot a 2005 Cayenne S. I am buying the Techart Formula Wheels size 22. Can anyone make recommendations on tires that can be used? I need to know what size and what manufacturer. I was told by the Porsche technician that I need to buy extra load tires. Please advise.

Congrats on your purchase !

I have Techart Formula 22's and I use BF Goodrich 285-35-22...

Michelin Diamaris are also an option....

here's a pic.....

DEETZ, those came as a package, and I had researched the BF tire with decent feedback....turns out that I like the tread pattern after the fact....

It handles rain really well....

That brings me to another question...How would these handle in light snow ? Anyone keep their 22's on during light winter months ?

I got it from Meridian..BUT, I will never use them again, and never recommend them to my friends....service was horrible, and the first set of wheels arrived damaged and poorly packed....second set had small dings on one wheel....

just a **** poor outfit in my opinion

Thank you for the picture. The wheels and tires look great. Do the tires have an extra load rating?
Not sure, I'll look into it

19" is the biggest snow tire that just came out this year. P scorpion snow and ice and they are great. I would not use Diamaris or other non snow tire in light snow conditions.

James - Conti has a Winter Extreme in 20". I have them mounted on Techart Formula wheels and they look to be AWESOME. I will report back after the first real test.
