Just did my fronts last night - do you know which rotor size we have on the rears? Those are getting low as well.

My fronts are warped. I can feel them. I will use a dial indicator gague to check the rear discs.

I plan to replace my rotors and pads my self.

What are the OEM part numbers for pads and rotors for my 2004 cayenne S?

EBC Yellows

I've used EBC Reds but have swapped to the Yellows. The Yellows dust a little more than Reds but less than OEM and are meant for heavy SUV's and/or smaller car occaisonal track use and are higher temp capable. The Reds would leave a coating of material on the rotors if driven hard and the Yellows don't. Yellows are only about $10~$20 more than the Reds but much less than the OEM's. I have heard of some having good luck with Hawk Brakes too but I don't know which style.

The price for rotors on a turbo s is insane! I'm about to bite the bullet and do it, best price I can get for the front rotors is 750 each.

How many miles should I expect to get out of front and rear? I drive 50/50 city and highway. I ran the current set way down but am considering wearing the new rotors to about 75 percent and then changing the pads only so I can get another set of pads out of these rotors. Any opinions?

Best price on new Turbo S rotors.

Try http://sonnenporscheoemparts.com price is $656.25 per Rotor for 380mm Turbo S Rotors or what Porsche calls the 19" rotors because of the minimum wheel size required to fit over the 380mm (15") rotors. With the EBC Yellows which I swapped in at 15K miles I am at 57K and still have some rotor life so I am looking to get around 70K out of the first set of Rotors. I do think the EBC Yellows meet their claim of being easier on the rotors than the OEM pads.
