Another SUV

have an 09 GTS and still loving it

now looking for another SUV (preferable a smaller one) for use as a daily driver..

what other SUV is nice to look at, fun to drive, good on gas and reliable? does this exist?

I guess Cajun fits the bill, but still a couple of years away.

Audi Q5 tops my list, but has concern about reliability.

Mazda CX-7, Acura RDX, Nissan Murano, and my favorite BMW X6M (not so good on gas though)

My wife has a CX-7, we dislike it, greatly. Elaboration to follow (at work.)

Ever consider like an Audi S4 Avant? Yes it is a wagon but fun to drive and you get plenty of space...

Try the new X3. The twin scroll turbo is faster than a stock GTS because it is smaller and lighter. Gas mileage is outstanding. The steering, I thought, left much to be desired. Still, fully loaded and with electronic damping, throttle mapping and torque vectoring it is a real bargain at less than 55k. Leave out all the goodies and you can go home for about 40k.

the Audi Q5 is real fun to drive. when I was shopping for the Cayenne I brought a buddy along with me. First dealership we went to didn't have any Cayennes to test drive so we ended up taking out a Q5. My buddy ended up trading in his 5 series BMW for it. Unfortunately he had problems with the high pressure fuel pump, but Audi is giving him a new replacement vehicle. so yup, reliability is a bit dodgy, but Audi was quick to remedy the situation.

Actually, my Ex-GF has a Tucson V6. Not a bad vehicle at all. Not luxury (obviously), but we liked it.

What about a Benz GLK
