I spray them with water then wipe the Quad Tips with a soft towel and does the job well.

The only thing I hate is there someleft over black marks from the exhaust at the end of the tips.

"Purple Polish"

I help my buddy Gregg around his farm, and he showed me this one day when we were working on his Peterbilt. This stuff shines aluminum, chrome, and stainless steel like none other. Pour it on, rub it in, work it until the residue is black, then grab a clean rag. Wipe it completely off, and take some flour (yes, flour) and rub it over the surface. The flour will help fill in the pours.
