The AKA 2007 Summer Rally was held from July 16 to July 22nd.....The rally started in Salt Lake City, Utah and ended in Atlantic City, NJ. It was just over 3,000 miles and another week of CRAZY fun!!

Here's a rundown of the schedule:
July 15th--Arrival in SLC--Drive out to Wendover NV for the night
July 16th--Meet @ Bonneville salt flats for top speed tests
** I didnt run b/c the mixture of 91 octane and elevation was making my car run pretty rough......I was unhappy to say the least!!***
July 16th--Party in SLC
July 17th--Leave SLC for Billings Montana
July 18th--Leave Billings for Fargo North Dakota...Party
July 19th--Leave Fargo for Milwaukee
**I missed this leg, due to a tire failure.**
July 20th--Leave Milwaukee for Columbus Ohio...Party
July 21st--ALMS Race @ Mid-Ohio Racetrack--Back to Columbus for party
July 22nd-- Leave Columbus OH for Atlantic City NJ
Awards and final party.......

Top speed on the salt flats was 184 by a twin turbo 350Z running at 14psi (low boost)......I didnt run, as well as the 07 BMW M5 and 700hp STI

The rundown of cars was:
2007 BMW M5 (stock) 2002 BMW M5 (chip/exhaust)
2004 Porsche 996 (exhaust) 2005 Cayenne Turbo (me)
Nissan 350Z (twin turbo) and (single turbo)
(2) 2006+ Corvette C6's Z51 BMW Z3 coupe
Pontiac Trans Am WS6 (360rwhp) Mistu Evo (worked)
(2) Subaru STI's (both worked) Subaru 2.5 RS (worked)
VW Corrado, Jetta Porsche Cayman S
Porsche Boxster S 2004 BMW M3 Competition
80's Supra BMW 328XI Crazy **** on a 1200cc Bike
.....prob a few more I am forgetting

We were escorted out of Utah, Idaho, Montana and North Dakota by the state police, however very few of us actually got tickets......I got away with no warnings/violations......

My Rally "issues" were,
Busted Pencil coil in my coil pack.....replaced
Windsheild was beyond repair ......replaced
*** Everyone's windshield had to be replaced**
Loss of tread on right rear NITTO NT555 tire....replaced
Max 91 octane....Elevation and minor scratches

The fastes i hit was about 185 pulling on the Cayman on Rt 80 West going to SLC.
