With all due respect to the OP and other posters, I am having a hard time working up much compassion for Cayenne owners (myself included) with our $50k-$140k vehicles with respect to high gas prices.

I bet you.. someone makes that gizmo... and BTW, the installation of a tank and piping including the 'adapter" in the fuel system (carburetor) was really not that expensive. Now, I just read that a complete CNG installation runs 18K dollars.

Paid over $200 in 3 weeks (V8). Thought about switching a car for a daily commute but nothing drives like a Porsche!

When I surpass 15 MPG in my BMW it's like major celebration time.
In other words, it's all relative. Anyway, who wants a vehicle with great gas mileage that you're not wild about?

David
Agree, the new T is excellent for the money in diesel form.

And that is why we are trading and replacing all our company cars with Jetta Sportswagen diesels. Less than $30K fully loaded, great economy - 40+ miles / gallon - no electrical / hybrid crap that will go wrong and costs a fortune to repair.. strike that ... replace.... an engine that is proved to run a few 100,000 miles with some oil changes every 10K miles, a bag full of torque and a European handling and quality... Yep. See you parked on the side of the road with your Prius / Volts and other hybrids. Hope you have your red triangle handy.
