Gas prices is killing me!
Gas prices is killing me!
Last week I was filling up wives' V6 at gas station, the meter stopped at $100 and tank still wasn't full yet! Is this thing really getting the stated MPG? Or am I just driving it too hard?
That's funny... I just switched from Range Rover to Cayenne V6 because of those damn gas prices
Think the V6 is about as economic as they come (only out done by the ML Bluetec).
One thing is for sure, those gas prices will only get worse!

Amen. I traded a RR Sport Supercharged, and I have NEVER had a vehicle chew through gas like that car (and premium on top of that). Horrible car for mileage, so V6 can't be that bad. 16-18 in city--that's pretty good. What are you getting?
I'm keeping my eye on that one!

I do not disagree. Finally an electric that makes sense. I'm optimistic.

I'd buy one. Lots of potential for a performance electric with gas backup.
But if I really wanted best electric, id buy a Prius and fully convert to all electric with bigger batteries etc. Call me silly

Ah, isn't an empty tank and empty tank? Doesn't matter what you MPG are. A car with a 26 gallon tank getting 5 mpg cost the same as a car with a 26 gallon tank getting 30 MPG to fill up.
Why not Diesel????
I am amazed that nobody seriously considers to go Diesel. It is a tried and proven technology, here to stay because all the trucks will be around for a long time to come. Diesel engines go forever, there is no need for electrical gizmos' and they will retain more of their value with minimal maintenance and repair. We moved our DD's to VW Jetta Sportswagon diesels. Zero problems, great support everywhere and 600+ miles range. Did I mention torque??
