What Options Do I Have on GTS?

Was wondering if anyone can help me out. I just picked up a gently used 2013 gts and it seems pretty loaded, I just wanted to be able to know what options are installed on my car.

Any advice on pointing me in the right direction is greatly appreciated!

If you got it from a Porsche dealer (or get it serviced at one) they should be able to provide that info.

I believe Suncoast also offers a service to provide that info too.

The Porsche USA website lists all the standard and optional equipment for a 2013/2014 GTS.

The added options can be provided by the Porsche dealer. Otherwise, a Porsche dealer should be able to look up your VIN and possibly tell you that way too.

Otherwise, i would just go through the list of options and check them off one by one if you have them or not since you already have the car. Should be fairly easy to identify each option visually/button or via PCM.

I wasn't in the market to buy a car, I kinda just stumbled upon it at Carmax. It was too good to pass up. Ended up trading in my 13 X5 50.

Do you know it's In Service date? That's important to know for warranty stuff as well as your service intervals (the miles aren't high enough, but depending on the date you could be due for the 10k/1yr interval).

I thought someone would point out the absence of PDCC and PTV handling options

In service date began July 2013. So next service is this coming July I assume? I have to check the interval.

I'm a Porsche newbie...should I plan on purchasing the maintenance plan from the porsche dealer?

I'll post pics soon. Getting it tinted tomorrow.

And YES, I do in fact PDCC, just not PTV. Someone here was nice enough to help me out with the build info.

My car retailed for $121k. So CRAZY.

Great- the PDCC makes a huge difference in handling. The guys on here insisted that I get it and they were on the money with that advice.
Your car is mega loaded. Great deal

Depends on how much you drive it. I believe the gas cars are 10k or 1yr. If that is the case and you drive less than 2500 miles, then yes July would be your date. You can get the interval info from the MFD Info screen, but it's good information to know just incase it got reset for some reason before trading hands.

Depends on you and your dealer. The upside of the plans is that you are locked in at the price you paid (and let's be real, the service costs are only going to go up over the years) so no mater what Porsche dealer you take it to you won't be shafted by a ridiculous rate (for the 5k interval (e.g. oil change) the dealers in my area range from 450 to 675 for the same service). If I remember correctly someone calculated out the 4 year plan being the best value, but it's been awhile since I looked into it. The plans also only have value if you will only take it to Porsche dealers.

For me I looked into it and I could indeed "save" some money going with a few plans rather than pay as I go, but I can save even more by either doing the stuff myself (e.g. oil changes) or taking it to a local Indy.

My advice would for you to find a good Indy in your area that knows Porsches and sit down and review what they would charge for the SI items that you don't want to (or can't) take care of yourself. Then compare that to what your Porsche dealer(s) would charge, and finally compare that to different plan prices.
