New Trim Installed!

Just finished installing the Yachting Mahogany trim in my Cayenne. It was pretty easy to do with the
right tools right tools
(they just pop out and you and push the new trim pieces in). I had the dealer do the console since I didn't want to take apart my shifter and navigation system.

If anyone is interested here is the link to the eBay listing for the trim I purchased (over 50% off ): http://www.ebay.com/itm/301167433037. They also have Carbon Fiber.

Also, I have my old Aluminum set for sale in the marketplace: https://www.6speedonline.com/forums/...inum-trim.html

That is really beautiful. I would have never considered that option until seeing these pictures. Well done!

Very classy -- love it! And good job doing it yourself -- I am the same way with my cars. Keep it up!

Nice. It goes really well with your interior color.

I really need to get off my butt and pull my trim pieces and get them painted. Already have a quote for <$300 to get it done. Just need to pull them and drop them off.

Yeah, I think this is a much better deal than the 3k Porsche charges you for this option when you buy the car.

so the decision now is carbon fiber vs wood? I have a two tone interior with black dash and beige seats.

You can't go wrong with either one. I never had wood in a car before, so it was an easy choice for me.

Great Job! I did the same thing a year ago, but left the center console black. I kind of like the contrast.
