Does anyone know what the difference between the front hole closest to the rear of the vehicle? And the rear hole closest to the front of the vehicle? ( standing from rear looking at bumper) on the muffler of the Cayenne V6. I have seen some people use both or switch them around. Does one set give more power or sound than the other and why??

let us know if you get it done. I would love to engineer a package that someone could order and install themselves. I guess it would be pretty easy- the package would include quad tips (some have listed some inexpensive ones on here from China), a mating connector that connects to the muffler, compression strap that would connect the mating connector to the tip (one tip would need to be trimmed in the package probably), and a hole saw. The only problem I could see is you would have to bring it to a shop to get the mating connector welded in.

I can't speak for the V8 engines but in the V6 I only noticed a very slight increase inside.
The muffler in all Cayenne's is the same and the same with the PSE. The only thing that makes a difference on the PSE is the hole that you see plugged is connected to a valve and when you hit the sport button it opens up the valve. Also the hole that you see plugged is an internal bypass to the muffler, so it free flows. Some have had muffler shops tap into the plugged hole with a second pipe and then you have a cheap PSE. The only drawback to doing this is you will have loud exhaust all the time and some don't like that.
