the blind leading the blind................
in all honesty, who gives a f**k??? ....buy what makes you happy, regardless of what magazines give the best overall lap times or accelleration numbers. there is alot to be said for the actual driving experience, at which time you tend to forget if the car next to you can turn a 2 second per lap quicker lap time or 1/4 mile time that is a few tenths of a second better.

I agree with Allan in the part that Ferrari is slacking a bit on the new models.
I agree that the 355 was the last great design, it was instant desire. the 360 modena is nice, it took a while to grow on me, but the 430 is just a 360 with bad cosmetics. The front Grilles are not as beautifull, too big imo. the 430 Spyder does look better proportioned, I think the rear looks too high on the coupe.
Ferrari has one of the best aerodynamic programs and the downforce by the 430 and Enzo are extraordinary but the designs leave alot to desire. Lamborghini is Improving and the new cars are beautiful.
I'm not quite sure becasue I have no access to driving this exotics but I read alot and surf the webb, and from What I see the M6 is quicker than the 430 and that is a heavy car.
Now I also think all of this cars are very quick and within decimals at 1/4 times. I think everyone has favorites for theie weapon of choice and driver skill is a big factor.
to resume Porsche Kicks ***.

There are a lot of cars that are faster than the 430... I dont know about you, but i'd much rather have a 430 than an M6 any day of the week, month, year, etc.

You are talking different price points. The F430 is selling for $280 - $300k right now so that puts you in Murcielago territory.
Get the Murcielago. It will eat an F430 for lunch.

i got my 430 for 189K so its well below 300K and it will smash the G. it will also out track a muci anyday.
AllanĂ¢â‚¬â„¢s got bull urine pumping through his veins. The air he inhales derives mostly from fresh and steamy bull manure making every word out of his mouth smell like bull****. Take a walk on the other side of the farm Allan. I know of a couple horses that will out run your silly bull.
Both cars are great, I honestly think they are so close now, that it is all preference. The G makes the better daily driver, espacially the 2006 model, which will include; shorter gears, more hp/tq, navigation, backup camera etc.. It is definetly going to be a good perform, I forgot it already is! Now the F430 on the other hand, is a little more raw, E-diff, loud exuast, tremendous road feel and presence, it also is more track inspired. One cannot go wrong with either the G or F430.
I personally would go with the F430 currently, because I just love its lines, sound, and interior. Not that I don't like what the G has to offer, I just found the F430 more appealing.
RPM post some pictures of that badboy!

Besides, in the end, doesnt matter, the Gallardo and Murci look much better standing still than a 430 at any speed.
