while i agree that the murci looks better than the 430, the G does not. now that is just being biased. I owned a diablo 6.0 and a muci when it first came out and found that the murci was indeed a POS. it could have been just mine but i had problems with it two days after i picked it up. again, while i agree with you on the murci, the G does not come close looks wise.

I disagree, i never liked the 360 to begin with, and the 430 is even worse, now they made the front look horrible, and the back is worse than it was. Gallardo inmo, is night and day above the 430, in all aspects, looks, performance, etc.

^^ Whats up with that Gallardo^^( blue with silver stripes and chrome wheels) looks like a car from a video game... now the Murc and Diablo I would choose over the 360 or 430 respectively
I love the 05 G 6 speed and air ride for bumps

The Gallardo looks great from the front; the back is a little less desirable. Overall the G is just too small compared to other Lamborghini's who had serious road presence such as the Diablo and Murci, hence taking more time to get used. I would for sure take a Diablo or a Murcielago over any of the entry level Ferrari's 355, 360, 430, 550, 575. But, you can't take anything away from either brands, Ferrari and Lamborghini. The Gallardo is a great achievement in reliability, performance and functionality and price to. The F430 is also a serious achievement from Ferrari, sporting a extremely powerful 4.3 Litre V8, and far better build quality then any previous Ferrari, and also reliability to match.

I think a big problem that is starting to develop with Lamborghini’s, which typically doesn't apply to the Ferrari crowd, is the BLING BLING!!! Now we all know most Lamborghini owners say it is the Ferrari owners who have small peckers, and want attention. But, there is more Lamborghini's with 22' chrome wheels, 25k audio systems, blacked out tail lights (blacked out lights where cool in 1995 on Camaro's and Blazers) and other crap, then any F-cars on the road. Why try to perfect an already absolutely perfect, and stunning Italian design that Lamborghini offers.

I think Lamborghini owners like to be more unique. I for one, have modded every single car ive ever owned, whether it be Ferrari, Lambo, Porsche or a toyota. I like to be different.

Also, i think that alot of Ferrari owners strectch their budgets to be able to afford one, and hence dont do any aftermarket. Many are also into the supposed PURIST look.

Im definetly into performance mods, wheels are ok and nitrious and turbo's and supercharging and all, but the ghetto mods are getting a little over board, there is nothing wrong with taysteful moding.

i don't know what are you guys fighing about.
get what works for you.
the G is widely avaiable and you can even get a discount on it vs. the F430 where the whole allocation is almost sold out. YOu have to pay a prem. to play. I am not in any kind of position to get either car and track it. :-( So i am gonna pass the figures of any magazine as it will be irrelevant to me. As for looks, i think both cars look different and good in it's own way. I would like to own a G and F430 oneday soon.

They are both great cars. Based upon my firsthand driving experience, they feel/drive soooooo very differently -- you need to figure out which experience/sensation you prefer.

I think you'll be happy with your choice.
