You will not appreciate the GT3 since you dont seem like a true race enthusiest... your best bet is to go with the R8 since everyone will look at it like its a Super car and it sounds good and does ok in performance.

I agree with diddy, an R8 was at our dealership yesterday and everyone was crowded around it. Very cool car. I say go hardcore and get both, it's only paper.

 

I guess I'm in the minority. The R8 doesn't appeal to me at all.

 

Definitely the GT3. Everytime I drive my 2005 I get impressed all over again !

Would you really pay 45k more for a R8 when you can have a C2S from a company that has been doing super cars for 10x longer than Audi...? The only thing in my opinion the audi has is looks and thats about it.

i think the audi looks nice too but i would wait for the RS8 before ever considering a purchase. that was a fun episode of top gear though, their video editing gets better every year

Not at all. I find the R8 to be quite unappealing, with styling that will quickly become dated.
At 3600+lbs with AWD, the R8..... I forgot what I was going to say. I fell asleep.

The R8 is best compared with the Carrera 4S. To compare it directly with the GT3 is something that all car enthusiasts should take offense to.
