Don't shout SEARCH. I have and can't find what I am after.

I am new around here and have just changed my 05 M3 for a 08 GT3 and could not be happier. Now I just want to save the license.

I have bought a V1 detector and want to wire it in to the centre reading lights. I have seen many posts on this but all of them either have a dimming mirror or a sun roof. My GT3 has neither, and hence my question

Is there a way to install the V1 to a regular light pod or do I have to run it off the fuse box.

Any help would be appreciated.

definitely the easiest and it works... just keep in mind that when you lock the door, the radar detector turns off, but will turn off 10 seconds later... the turning on and off as the door opens isn't as big of a deal...

Done and dusted. Couldn't find a hot wire in the centre light (no sunroof, no dimming mirror etc) so I ran it to the fuse box. Nice and simple by following a fellow 6speeder write-up

Cheers for the help all
